EDI and interoperability services

EDI is the least glamorous system in the estate and the one that stops the business first when it breaks. It should be monitored like production infrastructure, because that is what it is.

X12 5010HL7 v2FHIR R4EDIFACTAS2 & SFTP

We build, migrate and operate EDI: trading-partner onboarding, HIPAA 5010 and X12 mapping, healthcare interoperability on HL7 and FHIR, secure transport, and the acknowledgement reconciliation that tells you a file actually arrived.

Healthcare transaction sets

The sets we run in production

Healthcare data moves on a fixed vocabulary. These are the ones our integrations are built, tested and monitored against.

834

Benefit enrollment and maintenance.

270 / 271

Eligibility and benefit inquiry and response.

276 / 277

Claim status request and notification.

Premium payment and payroll-deducted remittance.

Supply-chain transaction sets

And the ones that move goods

The same pipeline, the same monitoring, a different dictionary — retail, distribution and manufacturing partners.

Capabilities

What comes with the integration

Partner onboarding

How a new trading partner goes live

  1. Companion guide

Read their specification against your data, and record every deviation before writing a map.

  2. Map and validate

Build the map, then validate at the syntax, HIPAA and business-rule levels separately.

  3. Connectivity

Transport, certificates and credentials established and tested independently of the payload.

  4. Parallel run

Live volume exchanged in test until acknowledgements and totals reconcile on both sides.

  5. Production and watch

Cutover with alerting on volume, latency and acknowledgement gaps from the first interchange.

Our approach

A file that left is not a file that arrived

The failure mode that costs the most is silence: a partner stops sending, or an interchange is rejected downstream, and nobody notices until a month-end number is wrong. So every flow we build reconciles what was sent against what was acknowledged, and alerts on the absence of traffic as loudly as on an error.

We also treat maps as code — versioned, reviewed and tested — because a companion guide changes, a plan year turns over, and the map that worked in January has to be provably the map running in July.
